On August 6, 2026, Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) held the Annual Meeting of the Membership at OTEC Headquarters in Baker City. During the meeting, OTEC General Counsel Ron Williams announced the results of the 2026 Board of Directors elections.
- Position 1, Union County Jeff D. Clark – 2770 votes
- Position 2, Baker County Aletha Bonebrake – 1282 votes David Crawford – 2007 votes
- Position 3, Harney County Robert Cargill – 1280 votes Fred Hellbusch – 1928 votes
OTEC congratulates Jeff D. Clark, David Crawford, and Fred Hellbusch on their election to the Board of Directors, and thanks every candidate for the time, energy, and commitment they gave to their communities and to the cooperative. Stepping forward to serve is no small thing, and each name on this ballot represents a neighbor willing to do it.
