The Journeyman Lineman in Burns, Oregon, performs all classes of overhead and underground transmission and distribution work. This position starts at $45.80 per hour.
Work with and through management to ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures. Coordinates and implements safety rules, regulations and performs training.
The Substation Technician is stationed at OTEC’s headquarters in Baker City, Oregon and is responsible for the inspection, operation, construction and maintenance of the Cooperative’s 25 substations, and electrical line apparatus.
Responsible for the internal and external communication for the cooperative and has reputation management as its highest priority.
Provide technical leadership over the corporate network which includes designing, engineering, installing, configuring, and maintaining the corporate LAN and WAN and supporting end user mobile devices. Develop innovative technology solutions to enhance and enable productivity for the organization.
Responsible for the short and long-term system planning for the cooperative, as well as general engineering duties and special projects of a technical nature. System Engineer may supervise union and non-union employees.
***Position may be filled as Associate OR System Engineer depending on experience/ and qualifications***
This position will play a key role in helping the IT team develop and deploy a new website monitoring program for the Cooperative
