2026 Annual Meeting Information

If you have not already submitted your ballot, there are still options available.

Here is what you need to know.

BALLOTS: Members who need a replacement ballot may still request one and pick it up at OTEC Headquarters in Baker City. Because the Annual Meeting is only a few days away, replacement ballots will no longer be mailed and will not be available at district offices.

IN-PERSON VOTING: If you have not already submitted a ballot, you may visit OTEC Headquarters, verify your membership, and vote there until 5:00 p.m.

DEADLINE: Ballots must be received before the Annual Meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. Once the meeting starts, ballot collection will close and no additional ballots can be accepted.
We want every eligible member-owner who wishes to participate in the election to have accurate information about the voting process and the deadlines involved.

Election Information

Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative (OTEC) is a private, non-profit electric cooperative which is owned by the members it serves and is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the member-owners and are accountable to the member-owners. The Board of Directors makes business and policy decisions in setting the direction of OTEC. Directors are elected to serve three-year terms.

To ensure strong local leadership, member-owners elect directors on a rotating basis from each of OTEC's four districts.
